Witch Meridian Arc

I really think that the Meridian Arc was the coolest ever don't you guys think so? It's where the girls are first introduced to their lives as Witch and learn that they can use their powers to combat everyday troubles like homework, chores and even boys! I really like it when love just starts to blossom and there are still a lot of awkward moments. One thing that I didn't like was that during the entire Arc Hay Lin didn't have a pairing! But she certainly is last but not the least as she has the strongest relationship with Eric and that distance does not matter! In any case I found this cool review of the first Arc containing their powers and discussing their love lives, check 'em out!

I would have to admit that the Meridian arc is my favorite. I also think an entire series about Elyon and Meridian could be split off and sustained easily.

The two specials were good, and we saw a bit more of the cultures and people of the place. The characters were as well-developed as they could be in such a short time, and some running subplots were hinted at (like Elyon's learning curve as queen).
There is nothing right in the world when Hay Lin isn't happy.

I like the first arc a lot too. Considering that that was originally just going to be the entire W.I.T.C.H. series, that's an especially good thing.

I hadn't heard of that. Can you give more details?

I don't have the exact link or info, so maybe it's a rumor... It involved asking why Anna resembles Irma even though she's her stepmother. I think it was somewhere on this forum...

As far as I remember, we've never seen a picture of Irma's mom. So to speculate, that might be one of the reasons why Tom Lair married Anna, because she resembles his first wife.
