Sometimes I'm confronted with incredible types of coincidence. Years ago I met a Swedish girl on a flight from New York to Miami. We separated after arrival, but a week later I met her again in the crowd in Disneyworld.

That's pretty cool and creepy at the same time. ^^

I would have taken it as a sign we should keep in touch. That kind of thing isn't always coincidence.

Have you stayed in touch with her?

I just remembered something else that might be a form of magic--

I'm one of those people a mechanical watch won't work on. Electronic watches are fine, but about two weeks after I get it, a mechanical one will stop working.

I've heard some explanations for that, but none that seem right to me.

Watches don't really function well for my mom and me, though I always blamed it on their being typically very cheap, POS ones.

You might be the same way.

The $10 plastic electronic watches by Casio will last two years or more with me, but an expensive mechanical one; save your money.

Come to think of it, here is some magic:

The soft drink machine at my grandfather's business would never take my money. I would run it through, but it would come back. I could just reach in and get what I wanted. Nobody else could do that, either. It was a purely mechanical machine, too, no electronics at all (this was back in middle school).

So the machine gave you stuff for free? Neat. Me I'm just extremely lucky financially. I got a 10 grand tax slap last year or two years ago then three days later a letter announcing that I got approved for Activity Compensation and that I'd get 33 grand retroactively dropped into my mail box 8)

My plastic ones typically last 18 months. As for my metal ones, the shortest lived one I ever had didn't even last a week. And this was me taking care of it.

Yep, I'd have to say you have the same thing.

Yet another ability besides watches and drink machines--

If a traffic light does me a favor and I thank it, it will keep doing me favors. Like it sees me coming and will change to let me through, regardless of where it is in the cycle. As long as I keep saying 'thanks', it works. Not 100% of the time, of course, but enough to be useful.

Hmmm... these are all Will-type things, having to do with machines. Let's see... nope, I can't summon the Heart of Kandrakar out of myself, so I can't be a male Guardian.

Maybe if the W.i.t.c.h. bus comes by, I can take some lessons. : )

Hehehe. In 2nd or 3rd grade I got a test back that I had studied really hard for and got the worst grade ever. I was so furious that I set the paper on fire with my mind. Never happened again though :(

Edit: And when I get berserker angry I get REALLY strong. Like I picked up a bookcase and threw it across a room once. So my abilities seem Wrath originated

Remind me never to make you angry, then.

If you translate it in terms of Guardian powers, I'd say Fire. Is your birthday in an astrological fire sign?

Jan. 20 (my bd) is on the cusp between Aquarius (air) and Capricorn (earth). Will's bd is Jan. 19, in Capricorn...
